The position includes paid holidays, vacation, benefits, and weekly direct deposit pay. The operator will setup machines, follow work instructions, record measurements, and ensure quality per orders while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a physically demanding role, with long hours standing and lifting.
• Basic math and computer skills are necessary for the position.
• Must be able to communicate in verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Operate slitter machine.
• Machine set up for each order.
• Follow order instructions for packaging and labeling.
• Follow quality specifications and document relevant data.
• Fill out quality paperwork and enter information in SAP-like system.
• Print labels and cut cores as required.
• Perform general housekeeping and safe work practices.
• Promote teamwork and support plant goals.
• Assist in achieving productivity and continuous improvement.
