Responsibilities include setting up machines, monitoring performance, inspecting quality, recording usage and scrap, and coordinating with teammates to ensure smooth workflow in a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience operating machinery in manufacturing (slitting preferred).
• Ability to read production orders, perform basic math, and use a tape measure.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Schedule/Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Summary

Operate slitting equipment to meet production orders while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues with tension, cut quality, and equipment function
• Inspect product quality, detect defects, and accurately record material usage and scrap
• Communicate with team members and leadership to coordinate workflow and material needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment (slitting experience preferred)
• Ability to read production orders, perform basic math, and accurately use a tape measure
• Strong attention to detail with ability to record data accurately
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including pushing and pulling materials
