A leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products is seeking a Slitter Operator for the night shift at their Villa Rica facility. The position requires industrial manufacturing experience, machine operation skills, and preparation for splicing. Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products, is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Slitter Operator position at their Villa Rica II facility located in Villa Rica, Georgia.
Qualified candidates should have experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Pay: $21.08 - $31.62 per hour depending on experience
Plus an additional $2.50 per hour for the night shift premium.
Schedule: Night Shift 8:00pm – 8:00am on a 3/2 schedule
Training will be on days for the first few months

Annual reviews with a potential for a pay rate increase
Up to $120 for steel toed shoes
Up to $135 for uniforms
Up to $125 for prescription safety glasses
Overtime
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Must be at least 18 years old
At least 1 year of experience operating a machine is preferred
Internal Candidates:
Last performance review was rated “Performer” or higher
No disciplinary actions beyond a written within the past 120 days
Must be in current position for at least 120 days.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare master rolls for slitting
Place rolls in machine and prepare for splicing
Properly segregate and label all materials
Ensure your own safety while operating the machine and that of those assisting with operations
Communicate orally and/or in writing to other departments for resolution of mechanical problems, reporting defective material, coordination of job preparations, changeovers and daily shift information
Ability to troubleshoot if needed
