Job summary

CP Flex Pack is seeking an experienced Slitter Operator for the 1st shift (6:45am-2:45pm) in Buffalo, NY. The role focuses on operating the slitter safely, loading/unloading rolls, and ensuring quality per specs.

Essential duties include reading orders, labeling, palletizing, and data entry. Qualifications include HS diploma, basic math, and strong attention to detail. PPE and overtime required.

Responsibilities

• Operate slitter machine.
• Load and unload rolls on a slitter.
• Interpret orders, SOPs, and tickets.
• Palletize finished goods per specs.
• Bag finished rolls and label correctly.
• Enter data into computer and forms.
• Attach accurate labels to rolls.
• Keep machine and area clean and safe.
• Spot and fix defects and splice materials.
• Perform duties safely and as assigned.

C-P Flexible Packaging is looking for experienced Slitter Operators to join our finishing team on the 1st shift 6:45am-2:45pm. The Slitter Operator operates a slitter safely, efficiently, productively and produces a quality product in accordance with company and customer specifications.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

• Operate slitter machine
• Loading and unloading of rolls on a slitter
• Interpret and understand written information. (orders, SOP's, Lam. and print roll tickets etc.)
• Palletization ( building pallets of finished goods per customer specifications)
• Bagging of finished rolls
• Enter accurate information into computer and on production forms.
• Print out and attach accurate labels to finished rolls.
• Keep Machine and surrounding area safe and clean.
• Spot and determine visual defects.
• Cut out defects and splice together good material.
• Safely do all functions (i.e. lifting, cutting, etc.)
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
