We are seeking a talented, motivated, and service-minded individual to join the team as a Slitter Machine Operator in our Phoenix, Arizona location. This is a full-time opportunity, 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 1pm-9pm.

Key Responsibilities for Slitter Machine Operator include:

1. Overall responsibility for the machine including set-ups, output, and maintenance.
2. Performing changeovers, changing paper rolls, and removing splices, with a focus on strong mechanical operation and decision-making.
3. Work closely with teams/departments to create an environment that supports workflow.
4. Engage in areas of continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives in finishing.
5. Work safely, abide by and promote established safety policies and procedures; identify and follow up to ensure unsafe conditions are managed.

Education, Experience, and Credentials

• Required: Computer skills and knowledge.
• Preferred: High School degree or equivalent.
• Preferred: Prior experience in a converting environment.
• Preferred: Previous experience with Lean Manufacturing and ISO quality systems.
