Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $17 - $20 / hour DOE

Do you have solid experience as a machine operator with PLC-driven equipment?

Are you seeking a clean, quiet, low stress environment?

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Slitter Operator to join our team for 1st shift, Monday thru Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm.The Slitter Operator will be responsible for loading, set-up, and running of plastic film materials on the slitter as part of our production processto produce high-quality, accurately cut rolls.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret work orders and specifications.
• Load master rolls of film onto the slitter and set-up the machine to create the proper finished rolls size.
• Monitor product quality while running the machine, and track counts to create the correctly sized rolls needed.
• Cut custom cores as needed to support the operation of the slitter.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed to ensure optimal quality and efficiency.
  
• Wrap and label completed rolls as required.
• Complete and maintain associated job / production instructions and paperwork
• Follow all safety regulations and procedures.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  
• Support the efforts of the Plant Supervisor as needed
  

Requirements:

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  
• Previous experience operating PLC-driven equipmentor similar equipment is .
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies.
  
• Strong math skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential. This role requires a strong commitment to being present and punctual every scheduled workday.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
  
• Experience with forklift truck
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
