Job summary

ProAmpac Greensboro site is hiring for a temporary-to-hire machine operator. You will read measuring tools to set cutting blades and move paper rolls using a clamp truck, plus operate an overhead crane when required.

Responsibilities include loading rolls into machines while maintaining safety and quality, with overtime as needed for Saturdays/holidays. This on-site role offers benefits and growth opportunities at the Greensboro facility.

Qualifications

• MUST understand how to read a measuring tool to set up cutting blades in the proper sizes.
• Previous manufacturing machine operator experience REQUIRED; clamp truck experience a plus.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays and/or holidays.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 2-8 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds periodically.
• Must be able to tolerate hot, humid work conditions.
• Must adhere to company policies, safety rules and wear PPE.

The hours are 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Overtime will require later ending times of 12:00 AM or 1:00 AM. This position is a temporary to hire position.
