The position is Temp-to-Hire with pay of $18.50 per hour and requires at least 1 year of slitter experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Slitter Operator experience required.
• Must have experience operating a press machine.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to successfully pass a measurement test.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with employees and coworkers.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup - Configure and set up the slitting machine according to job specifications.
• Adjust blades, guides, and other machine components to achieve the required cut widths.
• Material Loading- Load raw materials, such as coils or rolls, onto the slitter for processing.
• Ensure materials are properly aligned and tensioned to prevent issues during production.
• Production Operation- Operate the slitter to cut materials into specified widths and lengths.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure consistent product quality and meet production goals.
• Identify and address production issues as they arise.
• Follow established safety and quality procedures.
