Job summary

Lineage Logistics is hiring a forklift operator in Twin Falls, Idaho. You will move products and materials using a stand-up reach forklift with slip sheet conversion, following all safety standards and company policies.

The role includes putting away and picking palletized units, recording weights and counts via RF systems, and performing routine forklift maintenance while adhering to safety procedures. This is an on-site position with exposure to cold and dry storage environments.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to understand instructions in the official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in cold storage up to -20 F (-25 C) and in dry storage up to 100 F (37 C) with provided PPE.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs (18 kg).
• Flexible work schedule, including potential weekends.
• Must be comfortable with varying noise levels, which can be loud.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up reach forklift with slip sheet conversion to move products and materials.
• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for rack placement; pick units for outbound shipment.
• Record materials, weight, counts, and condition using the RF system.
• Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Monitor and maintain battery charge and charging station etiquette.

Job description

Use a stand-up reach forklift with slip sheet conversion to move products, equipment, and materials while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height
• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment
• Choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via Radio Frequency (RF) system
• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting device
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
