As a Mad Scientist, you will inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers through our innovative activities that show kids what science is really all about. We strive to teach kids science in a digestible manner that will stay with them for a lifetime.

You will present hands-on science programs to elementary-aged kids, including launching rockets and performing experiments. Camp themes include BRIXOLOGY, NASA STEM Explorers, Robots: Paths to Power, Underground Explorers, Chemical Curiosities, among others. We collaborate with Crayola, NASA, and Lego to develop our programs.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Attend orientation and training before camp begins.
• Ensure the safety of children during camp activities.
• Engage children during activities and experiments, ensuring they have fun and are actively involved.
• Lift and transport equipment in kits, which vary in size and weight. Your vehicle should accommodate this equipment.
• Drive to and from camp locations using your own vehicle. Camps are located in areas such as Freehold, Monroe Township, Red Bank, and others.

Schedule and Pay

• You may choose to work half-day or full-day camps. Availability affects the number of camps you can attend.
• Half-day: 9am-12:30pm or 12:30-3:30pm.
• Full-day: 9am-3:30pm.
• Pay is $325/week for half-day camps and $575/week for full-day camps.
