Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Georgia is seeking a general production team member to operate slicing and bagging equipment and stack tubs. The role includes sanitation and basic maintenance, and you may assist on other duties as needed to support a fast-paced store operation.

The ideal candidate can lift 35–60 lbs, works well in a team, and follows GMPs with reliability and good attendance. Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift in excess of 35 pounds frequently, 60 pounds occasionally.
• Able to learn and perform all positions in a fast-paced environment.
• Must follow GMPs and maintain good attendance and punctuality.
• Able to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions.

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
