Job Description

Are you passionate about sleep medicine and eager to gain hands-on experience? As a Sleep Tech Trainee, you'll work closely with Registered Sleep Technologists and Sleep Medicine Physicians, conducting overnight polysomnograms and other sleep studies, while receiving expert training.

Responsibilities
  • Train under medical supervision performing sleep studies up to 1638 hours.
  • Collaborate with a team of sleep medicine professionals.
  • Collect sleep data, perform CPAP titrations, and score sleep studies.
  • Learn sleep staging and data analysis techniques.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Current BCLS certification
  • Enrolled in or completed A-STEP Modules (must complete within 2 years if non-registered)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Complete registry exam eligibility and obtain Polysomnography Registry within 24 months
Preferred Qualifications
  • RPSGT/RST eligibility or other BRPT-accepted credentials
  • Clinical experience in patient care
  • Experience with sleep data collection, scoring, and stage recognition
  • MSLT and MWT experience
