Job summary

Pulmonary Associates of Richmond is offering the opportunity for a Sleep Technologist Trainee position on the day shift. Candidates must complete a recognized A-STEP program to qualify for RPSGT credentialing within 12 months. Qualifications

• Completion of an A-STEP program designated by the AASM or BRPT-recognized pathway required.
• Must obtain RPSGT credential within 12 months after hire.
• Ability to work any day shift, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup and performance of home sleep testing equipment.
• Provide patient education on proper use of HST devices.
• Perform accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.

Skills

Basic computer skills

Ability to learn sleep lab software

Current CPR/BLS certification

Education

Completion of A-STEP program or BRPT-recognized pathway

Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) eligibility
