Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a polysomnographic technologist to perform comprehensive sleep studies and related procedures. Under the supervision of the clinical director, you will collect data, monitor signals, and contribute to accurate scoring and reporting to support diagnostic care.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, completion of a polysomnography program or equivalent experience, and active NJ licensure or eligibility as a polysomnography technician.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a polysomnography program (at least 1 year) or 6 months trainee experience with documented competencies.
• Active NJ Polysomnography Technician license or temporary license; RPSGT/ABSM or equivalent registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform polysomnographic testing and data acquisition.
• Score sleep stages and clinical events following guidelines.
• Generate accurate reports and maintain data integrity.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
