Qualifications

• ASTEP or CPSGT credentials or six months sleep trainee experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, calibrates and monitors recording equipment for PSG, MSLT, and HSAT to ensure artifact-free tracings.
• Greets patients and gathers data on medications, caffeine, alcohol, and sleep patterns.
• Prepares for high-risk situations and educates patients on testing procedures.
• Interprets polysomnogram data and documents relevant events.
• Titrates CPAP/BIPAP and other therapies and ensures equipment function.
