Job summary

Overlake is seeking a full-time Sleep Technologist to perform adult polysomnographic testing, analysis, patient care, education, and associated interventions. The role includes calibrating equipment, applying electrodes, and scoring sleep stages.

The schedule features three 12-hour shifts (Wed–Fri, 6:30pm–7am) for 0.9 FTE, with benefits described in the posting. Prior sleep studies experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Associate degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology OR graduate from a CAAHEP Polysomnographic accredited program OR graduate of an approved Allied Health program is required.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) with the Board of BRPT is required.
• CPR certified (Health Care Provider Course only acceptable) is also required and must be current and maintained every 2 years.
• Requires minimum of one (1) year working in sleep studies.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze patient information, verify orders, document thoroughly, orient patient and explain procedures, and interpret orders with good judgment.
• Calibrate recording equipment, apply electrodes/sensors, fit masks, perform calibrations and troubleshoot issues.
• Score sleep/wake stages and clinical events, generate accurate reports, and complete shift-end documentation.
