Job summary

The Sleep Disorder Center of Louisiana in Lake Charles is seeking a highly qualified Registered Sleep Technologist to perform overnight polysomnography studies in our state-of-the-art facility, ensuring patient comfort and accurate data collection.

In this full-time overnight role, you will monitor sleep patterns, score studies, generate comprehensive reports, and collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to develop effective sleep disorder treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Louisiana for Polysomnography or Respiratory.
• CPGST / RPSGT / RST or SDS credential required.
• Current BLS certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform overnight polysomnography tests.
• Monitor patients' sleep patterns and identify irregularities.
• Analyze sleep study results and generate comprehensive reports.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop effective treatment plans.
• Provide exceptional patient care and address concerns or questions.

Requirements

• Currently, Louisiana State Licensed in Polysomnography or Respiratory
• Current CPGST, RPSGT, RST, or RT with SDS Credential
• Current BLS Certification
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
