Job summary

Pivotal Health is hiring Sleep Technologists to support Trinity Health of New England Sleep Lab with overnight and daytime studies. Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating polysomnographic equipment, and recording physiological data to guide diagnoses and treatment.

The role requires RPSGT BRPT certification, BLS, and an accredited polysomnography program, with opportunities for full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules within a patient-centered team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited polysomnography training program.
• RPSGT certification and BRPT registration are required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of sleep disorders and polysomnographic procedures.
• Ability to work overnight shifts in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and explain sleep study procedures.
• Set up and calibrate polysomnographic equipment.
• Monitor patients during sleep studies, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Collect and document physiological data (EEG, EOG, EMG, ECG, respiration, airflow, oxygen).
• Analyze data and prepare reports for physician review.
• Troubleshoot and maintain diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to support patient care.
