Job summary

SLEEP RX LLC in Saint Petersburg, FL seeks an experienced Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with sleep management experience for a full-time overnight position. Responsibilities include facilitating diagnostic sleep studies, data collection, and patient care in a sleep lab.

The role requires FL licensure and a strong background in sleep services; pay is hourly with benefits, with an overnight shift from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Qualifications

• RPSGT certification or RRT certification required.
• Current BCLS certification required.
• Experience in a sleep lab setting.
• Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program.

Responsibilities

• Testing and data collection: Facilitate polysomnographic tests and collect accurate data.
• Equipment preparation: Prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes, sensors, and airway pressure masks.
• Monitoring and recording: Record patient activities, monitor study quality, and document clinical events.
• Data analysis: Score clinical events and tabulate data for physician review.
• Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and laboratory protocols.

Must be a RPSGT or RRT with sleep management experience to qualify for this position and have FL licensure.

Pay: $35 to $45 an hour plus benefits.

Location: St. Petersburg, FL

Shift: Overnights 8:00 PM–6:00 AM

Job Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or higher required; completion of an accredited Polysomnography program required.
• Certification/Licenses:
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• Experience: Prior experience as an RPSGT or RRT in a sleep lab setting.
• Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; use hands to operate equipment.
  • Close, distance, and peripheral vision with ability to adjust focus.
  • Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Other: Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required; must meet federal employment eligibility requirements (E-Verify participation).
