Job summary

The Insomnia and Sleep Institute of Arizona (Scottsdale) is seeking a Sleep Technician to perform sleep studies, score data, and ensure a safe, high-quality patient experience. Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited sleep technology program (certificate or associate degree).
• Certification by a board such as RST, RPSGT, or RRT-SDS.
• Strong computer, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history, confirm orders, and assess needs.
• Greet patients, verify identity, obtain consent, explain procedures.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment; apply electrodes and sensors per protocol.
• Fit PAP interfaces and desensitize patients.
• Conduct sleep studies (MSLT, MWT, PAP titration, oxygen titration, parasomnia studies).
• Score sleep stages and clinical events using AASM guidelines.
• Generate accurate reports summarizing sleep and clinical data.
• Maintain safety, infection control, HIPAA compliance, and equipment upkeep.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement.
