Job summary

Christie Clinic Sleep Lab in Champaign is recruiting Sleep Technician I/II for full-time night shifts (7:00pm–7:00am). You will monitor sleep studies, prepare patients, attach sensors, and ensure high-quality recordings under supervision. For II, you will score polysomnograms and participate in quality assurance.

Required are a high school diploma, BLS/CPR, and progressive sleep tech credentials (CAAHEP program, ASTEP modules). Experience in clinical sleep testing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited sleep technology program preferred.
• ASTEP modules completion within 1 year if enrolled.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 3 months.
• RPSGT in II role within 2 years if not yet achieved.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze sleep studies, address test data and protocol.
• Prepare patients and attach sensors for accurate signals.
• Calibrate equipment; maintain high-quality recordings.
• Score polysomnograms for II role and ensure accuracy.
• Document patient care data in EMR; communicate with care teams.

Education
