Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Equivalent / GED required, Associate's Degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience preferred.
• Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT) or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scoring of adult and pediatric sleep studies.
• Conduct PSG, titration studies, MSLT, and more.
• Diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Educate patients and families across all ages.

Skills

Proficient knowledge of scoring requirements following AASM Standards

Knowledge of patient monitoring and care delivery

Command of sleep-induced changes in physiology

Interpretation of various tracings during studies

Education
