Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of polysomnographic testing and procedures.
• Ability to apply judgment and make informed decisions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Inserts Pes according to Clinic policy and procedures.
• Applies electrodes and sensors to patient per universal standards.
• Instructs patients on hookup and testing procedures.
• Fits patient for nasal mask during titration tests.
• Responds to patient care needs during testing.
• Conducts urine screen per Hospital policy.
• Recognizes and eliminates artifacts during data collection.
• Generates technologist reports reflecting procedures and outcomes.
• Performs CPAP and Bilevel titrations per policy.
• Performs data acquisition and documentation per protocols.
• Provides technologist notes and logsheets during testing.
• Provides medications to patients per physician orders.
