Job summary

Kettering Health Miamisburg is hiring a full-time Sleep Technologist to perform polysomnograms and titrations, including MSLT and MWTs, ensuring high-quality sleep studies. You will troubleshoot equipment, prepare for challenging patients, and work independently while collaborating with the sleep team.

Shifts are Saturday-Monday, 7am-7pm. A current BLS certification and one of the BRPT/ABSM/NBRC credentials are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's preferred.
• Must hold one of the listed sleep technologist credentials (RPSGT, RST, NBRC).
• Current BLS certification required or may be obtained after hire.
• Ability to work Saturdays through Mondays, 7am-7pm.

• Makes special preparation for unique or challenging patients or sleep studies
• Must be capable of working independently and work well with team members.

Job Qualifications:

• Completion of High School or equivalent at minimum but an associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must have one of the following credentials, RPSGT preferred:
• RPSGT, Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT)
• RST, Registered Sleep Technologist, from the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM)
• From the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC):
  • CPFT, Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist
  • RPFT, Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist
  • CRT, Certified Respiratory Therapist
  • RRT, Registered Respiratory Therapist”

• Technologist must have a current BLS certificate although it may be attained after hire.
