Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance's Sleep Laboratory in Somerville invites skilled Sleep Technologists and Registered Respiratory Therapists to join our diagnostic team. You will perform in-lab PSG studies, home sleep testing, CPAP titrations, MSLTs, scoring, and reporting, under medical direction from the Pulmonary department.

We value teamwork, quality improvement, and patient-centered care, with day shifts (10-hour shifts) on a per diem schedule.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of an accredited Sleep Technology or Respiratory Therapy educational program leading to a certificate or associate degree.
  • One of the following credentials is required: Registered Sleep Technologist (RST), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), or Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) credential, or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification.
  • One year polysomnography experience with pediatric, adult and geriatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic tests and scoring for sleep studies, including in-lab PSG studies, Home Sleep Testing (HSTs), CPAP titrations, MSLTs, scoring and reporting.

Department Description

The CHA Sleep Laboratory operating under the medical direction of the Pulmonary department, provides comprehensive Sleep Services at the Cambridge Health Alliance Somerville and Everett campuses.

Job Summary

Our dedicated team of Sleep Technicians and Registered Respiratory Therapists provides diagnostic tests, including in-lab PSG studies, HSTs, CPAP titrations, MSLTs, scoring, and reporting services. We are committed to customer satisfaction, effective resource utilization, teamwork, and continuous quality improvement, ensuring the highest standard of Sleep Studies for our CHA patients.

Qualifications/Requirements

Successful completion of an accredited Sleep Technology or Respiratory Therapy educational program leading to a certificate or associate degree.
