Job summary

Henry Ford Health’s Sleep Center in Novi is seeking a detail-oriented Research Study Assistant III to support clinical sleep research. You will coordinate sleep studies, manage patient interactions, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain high standards of professionalism and patient care.

You will assist with PSG setup, data entry, and study materials while collaborating with physicians and the research team to advance sleep medicine research and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in clinical research coordination or related healthcare settings.
• Strong organizational and time management skills for multiple studies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and research databases.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule sleep study appointments to optimize patient flow.
• Collect, record, and manage patient data with HIPAA-compliant methods.
• Assist in setup, monitoring, and maintenance of PSG equipment.
• Conduct patient intake interviews and obtain informed consent.
• Maintain organized study documentation and research records.
• Enter data into EHR and research databases accurately.
• Support administrative tasks including scheduling and correspondence.
• Communicate with patients, physicians, and research staff to resolve issues.
