Job summary

Pulmonary Associates of Richmond, Inc. seeks a full-time, partner-track Sleep physician to join a physician-owned, multi-location practice in central Virginia.

Provide expert evaluations, read sleep studies, manage CPAP therapy and related treatments, and educate patients and families to improve sleep quality. Experience with home sleep apnea testing and collaboration with five sleep labs is preferred.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
• Active Board Certification in Sleep Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical evaluations, diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.
• Read sleep studies and prescribe and manage CPAP therapy, oral appliances, medication therapy and other treatment modalities as needed.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educating patients and their families on sleep disorders, treatment options and lifestyle modification to improve sleep quality.

Pulmonary Associates of Richmond, a fully independent, physician- owned, pulmonary, allergy, and sleep medicine practice, is seeking to hire a full-time, partner track, Sleep physician. A Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine. Active Board Certification in Sleep Medicine.

For 50 years, we have been the premier provider of pulmonary outpatient care in central Virginia, with five locations, each offering full PFTs, allergy testing and immunotherapy, and dispensing of biologic therapy. The practice maintains 3 sleep labs with a total of 12 beds and a busy home sleep testing program. We also provide inpatient consultative services at 7 hospitals.
