Job summary

Tufts Medical Center is seeking a Physician to join our Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine in a unique hybrid role blending academic medicine, inpatient care, teaching, research, and community-based clinical practice.

Depending on interest, the position can concentrate on Sleep Medicine or split time across Sleep, Pulmonary and Critical Care, with practice at Tufts Medical Center and Lowell General Hospital.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an Accredited Medical School or equivalent.
• Board eligible or certified in Sleep Medicine, with experience appropriate to your career level.
• For candidates who want to split time between Sleep and Pulmonary and Critical Care will need to be BC/BE in Pulmonary and Critical Care
• Hold, or eligible to obtain, a valid Massachusetts Medical License
• A history of delivering superb clinical care and an interest in teaching fellows, residents and medical students
• Passionate about teaching and supportive of the academic mission

• Interested in building collaborative and interdisciplinary work

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient clinical care at Tufts Medical Center
• Deliver community-based clinical care at Lowell General Hospital, as part of an integrated hybrid role
• Diagnose and manage patients with a range of sleep medicine conditions
• Engage in academic activity and research related to Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary, and Critical Care
• Participate in teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows
• Support the mission of Tufts Medicine through clinical excellence, education, research, and community engagement
