Job summary

Salem Health is seeking a part-time Sleep Medicine Physician to join our Salem Health team in Salem, Oregon. You will work with physicians, APPs and the care team to directly manage patient care in the Sleep Medicine Clinic.

The role requires a Sleep Medicine fellowship, Oregon medical license, DEA certificate, and ABMS/AOA primary specialty certification or eligibility. A Lean approach and collaborative spirit are valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in neurology, psychiatry, internal medicine, family medicine, ENT, pediatrics, or other qualifying specialty.
• Completion of an accredited fellowship in Sleep Medicine.
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Oregon.
• Current DEA certificate.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Sleep Medicine.
• Board certification or eligibility in a primary specialty recognized by ABMS or AOA.
• Lean knowledge is a plus (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Directly manage patient care in Sleep Medicine in collaboration with the care team.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs and other staff to coordinate assessments and treatment plans.
• Participate in clinic operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support patient education and ensure compliance with care plans.

Required qualifications

• Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Sleep Medicine.

• Board certification or eligibility in a primary specialty recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA), as applicable.
