Job summary

Advocate Health in Illinois is seeking an experienced RN/APRN for the Sleep Medicine department. You will assess and manage patient care, order and interpret tests, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a Master’s in Nursing, relevant licensure, board certification, and DEA registration. Expect strong EMR usage, patient education, and adherence to safety standards within a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• Active RN license and APRN licensure as required.
• Active national board certification in area of clinical practice and populations served.
• Active DEA registration prior to hire.
• Illinois Controlled Substance License prior to hire (if Illinois practice).
• Active BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage treatment plans appropriate for age and condition.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies and prescribe interventions.
• Provide health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and refer when needed.
• Document accurately in the EMR and ensure compliant coding.
• Participate in quality, safety, and performance initiatives.
• Maintain standards of productivity and timely patient care.
