Job summary

Inova Neurology in Alexandria is seeking a Neurologist with Sleep Medicine focus to join our outpatient clinic. Board-certified/eligible in Neurology; Sleep Medicine certification preferred. Competitive compensation, sign-on and relocation incentives, and comprehensive benefits.

The role involves comprehensive neurological evaluations, sleep-related care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Must have or obtain Virginia licensure and contribute to research and education initiatives

Qualifications

Subspecialty certification in Sleep Medicine preferred.
Board certification or board eligibility in Neurology required; Sleep Medicine certification preferred.
Virginia license or eligibility to practice medicine in Virginia.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations and ongoing patient monitoring.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological disorders using evidence-based care.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with sleep-related issues.
Prescribe medications and order/interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
Coordinate referrals to specialty services and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Engage in clinical research and preventive health programs as applicable.
Provide clinical education and mentorship to medical students and residents.
