Job summary

Vancouver Sleep Center is seeking a Medical Biller to manage the full revenue cycle for sleep studies, including PSG/HSAT-related coding, denial management, and payer-specific navigation. You will post payments, generate statements, and support collections while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

The role emphasizes timely claim submission, accurate coding, and strong communication with the Referral Coordinator to optimize retro-authorizations and clinical notes as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in medical billing; Sleep Medicine or DME experience preferred.
• CPB or CPC certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Athena billing software and clearinghouses.
• Knowledge of No Surprises Act and Washington state billing regulations.
• Days in A/R target < 35 days; Denial rate < 5%.

Responsibilities

• Apply CPT codes and modifiers accurately for sleep services.
• Navigate Medicare Part B, LCDs, TriWest/TRICARE, and PPO/HMO billing.
• Post ERA and reconcile deposits; manage patient inquiries about deductible plans.
• Submit electronic claims with CCR ≥ 95%; daily workflow optimization.
• Provide weekly aging reports and support provider enrollment with Medicare and commercial panels.
