Job summary

Washington Regional is seeking a Non-Registered Polysomnographic Technician to support in-center polysomnography and home sleep apnea testing. You will help ensure accurate data collection, provide patient education, and maintain high-quality care in line with lab protocols.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and experience in a sleep lab. Completion of A-STEP modules is preferred to support credentialing goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of A-STEP modules administered through the AASM.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience in sleep labs and scoring/documentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, calibrate, and troubleshoot sleep tech equipment for accurate recordings.
• Monitor patients during testing and ensure comfort and data quality.
• Review and annotate studies for provider interpretation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing staff training and process improvements.
