Job summary

Software Placement Group invites a Polysomnography Tech or Respiratory Therapist to join a Sleep Disorders Center in Buckeye Lake, OH. The role focuses on delivering high-quality diagnostic sleep testing and patient care in a night-shift, on-site setting.

The position requires BRPT or RPSGT certification, Ohio licensure for RRT candidates, 1 year sleep center or respiratory therapy experience, and BLS. The team includes 9 techs with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BRPT or RPSGT certification required.
• RRT candidates must be Ohio Licensed.
• One-year experience in a sleep center or respiratory therapy.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care and diagnostic testing according to professional practice standards.
• Perform PSG, MSLT, and CPAP tests.
• Accurately analyze procedure results for physician interpretation.
• Participate in quality analysis of test results.
• Acknowledge charges for billing purposes.
• Apply, remove, and complete all tests and associated equipment.
• Work independently to perform high-quality PSG and other studies.
• Maintain equipment, perform routine maintenance, and report problems.
• Select recording montage(s) for each case, obtain high-quality recordings, and minimize artifacts.
• Assess patient status before, during, and after test completion.
• Operate all equipment in an optimal manner.
• Remain attentive to patient needs and meet expectations.
• Identify and complete additional projects as assigned by management.
• Join a team of 9 other Polysomnography Techs in a growing department.
