Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Sleep (Polysomnographic) Technologist to lead patient care in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders. The role includes in-center and home testing (HSAT), education of patients, and staff mentorship while working with advanced technology.

Ideal candidates hold RPSGT and RST certifications, with BLS within 30 days, and an associate degree or certificate in polysomnographic technology. Experience in a sleep lab is preferred and patient safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• Must have an associate degree or certificate in polysomnographic technology or equivalent experience.
• BRPT- or ABMS-certified credentials are required within stated timelines.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prep patients, verify records, and obtain consent.
• Set up testing instrumentation and calibrate equipment per physician orders.
• Monitor sleep studies, ensure data integrity, and document observations.
• Score sleep stages and events and generate comprehensive reports.
