Job description

Members of the Finance organization at select locations will generally be expected to follow a hybrid work model, which includes two days of in-office attendance each week, with limited exceptions.

State and Local Government and Education (SLED) Finance Operations. Cisco Capital, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cisco, has been providing financing since 1996 to channel partners and end-user customers. Your Impact

You will be the primary contact for SLED Finance Operations regarding legal financing agreement preparation and Business Partner funding. Your responsibilities include establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal teams, business partners, and customers, and liaising with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Credit, Legal, Tax, and others. Specific duties include:

  • Performing legal contract due diligence and managing contract execution, including quality assurance, cycle time, signature authority, and document retention.
  • Managing SLED contract operations, ensuring all required documents are prepared and approvals obtained.
  • Leading SLED contract RFPs and managing E-Rate operations annually.
  • Partnering with SLED sales to assist with contract usage and compliance, and working with partners on documentation, registration, and insurance.
  • Supporting strategic programs to drive SLED business and ensuring compliance with approval processes.
  • Updating operational processes, contributing to projects, and maintaining reports on activities and compliance.
  • Handling transactions in lease/loan financing systems and training on SLED bid tools.
  • Addressing customer questions, managing existing contracts, and maintaining related documentation.
  • Assisting in partner funding forecasting, supporting audits, and pursuing personal/professional development goals.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS degree with at least 4 years of experience in SLED/FED finance operations.
  • Knowledge of leasing operations or experience in SLED lending environments; FED lending experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to present complex issues and collaborate across functions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of Cisco's business objectives and their impact on processes.
  • Ability to structure teams and tasks, and provide technical mentorship.
  • Discretion in decision-making within broad guidelines.
