The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support. The position is in support of the U.S. Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP).

SPA has an immediate need for a Program Analyst who is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Cruise Missile Mission Planning to support the Navy’s Sea-Launched Cruise Missile-Nuclear (SLCM-N) Program within SSP. The Program Analyst will play a critical role in fostering effective communications between the Shipboard Systems branch and Focus Teams/Working Groups throughout the program while ensuring successful technical processes are implemented. This position will be based in Washington, D.C.

Washington DC Pay Transparency Range: $110,000 - $150,000.

Responsibilities

The Program Analyst, who will function as a Cruise Missile Mission Planning Subject Matter Expert (SME) will provide Technical Mission Planning support, support Section Travel and contribute to Section-Level/Working Level Meetings. The Program Analyst will generate and manage Meeting Minutes/Actions, technical support, review technical documentation and adjudication recommendations, plan and support technical Shipboard Technical events/meetings, and document/manage action items taken during events for the SLCM-N program. This includes tracking actions, taking meeting minutes, and leading Focus Team/Working Group sync meetings. The Program Analyst will provide pertinent technical information to Leadership in support of technical decisions to meet Program Objectives/Goals. Additional responsibilities will include synthesizing multiple sources of information to identify technical gaps in the Systems Engineering process to deliver SLCM-N Shipboard Systems on schedule.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active DoD SECRET clearance.
  • 5+ years technical work experience in PMA-281 Tomahawk Mission Planning activities.
  • Proficiency in M365 suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced, diverse team environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) field.
  • Active DoD TOP SECRET Clearance.
  • Experience supporting ACAT 1D programs or other large-scale defense projects.
  • Familiar with DoD Adaptive Acquisition Framework DODI 5000.02
  • Ability to Travel 5-10%
