Velcro USA Inc. in Somersworth, NH is hiring a Slasher Operator for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Mon-Fri). The role focuses on producing quality beams, operating equipment safely, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions and formulas.
• Experience operating complex machinery is preferred.
• Must be able to learn via book, web-based and classroom formats.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality beams for weave operation following Standard Work Instructions.
• Safely operate hoist and load beam creels with correct end count order.
• Lay in reeds and combs per lay-in style card.
• Mix sizing accurately according to formulas when needed.
• Repair lost or broken ends during the Slashing process.
• Maintain clean work area and document paperwork/beam tickets.
• Collaborate with yarn prep areas and support team goals.
