This job operates in amanufacturingenvironment. The candidate is frequently exposed to noise, dust and various chemicals, and moving parts requiring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection and steel toe shoes.
While performing the duties of this job, the candidate is regularly required to talk, walk, stand (for extended periods of time), and hear. The candidate must have good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity. The candidate will be required to reach out and overhead with hands and arms, and perform repetitive hand actions – grasping, push/pull, and fine manipulations. The candidate will be required to bend, stoop, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull with entire body weights up to 600 lbs. using beam hoists. The candidate must be able to climb up and down steps as necessary. The candidate must be able to climb up and down ladders. Specific vision abilities required by this position include color vision, close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
This is a full‑time position. Days and hours of work will be determined by shift. Weekend and overtime may be required as job duties demand.
This position requires little to no travel.
