Job summary

Spring Independent School District is seeking a SLAR Curriculum Specialist to develop district SLA curricula, support campuses, and align assessments with state standards. The role emphasizes collaboration with the Curriculum Director and district teams to advance student achievement in SLA content areas.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's and preferably a Master's degree, bilingual proficiency, and at least five years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish).
• Five years’ job-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and identify instructional responses to trends.
• Collaborate to develop and revise SLA curriculum and assessments.
• Lead and participate in professional development for teachers and staff.
• Coach campuses on SLA instruction and alignment with standards.
• Support district-wide SLA initiatives and program implementation.
• Ensure materials are culturally responsive and dual-language friendly.
• Coordinate with English RLA curriculum and ESL departments.
