Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of manufacturing IT system implementations, ensuring scope, timeline, and quality objectives are met during TSA cutover and stabilization.

  • Partner with change management team members to oversee change adoption and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Support establishment of sustainable support processes and operational handoffs to steady-state teams.

The Project Manager is accountable for supporting IT enablement and operational readiness for a manufacturing site in Tempe, AZ. This role provides day-to-day leadership across discovery, planning, implementation, and stabilization phases, ensuring seamless IT cutover from legacy systems to modern standard platforms while maintaining continuity of critical plant systems and applications.

Acting as the primary point of coordination between team members and client stakeholders, the Project Manager drives clarity, momentum, and accountability throughout the engagement. This position is critical during hypercare and stabilization periods, ensuring rapid identification and resolution of system and integration issues impacting site readiness, production continuity, and quality outcomes.

The Project Manager oversees implementation planning, staffing coordination, and execution across manufacturing operations and support teams. They manage dependencies, risks, and changes while establishing sustainable support processes, facilitating knowledge transfer, and ensuring smooth operational handoffs to steady-state support teams. This role ensures consistent application of training and change management strategies while supporting issue escalation and resolution throughout the engagement lifecycle.

In addition, the Project Manager provides strategic leadership around stakeholder engagement, readiness, and sustainment. They partner closely with delivery team members and executive sponsors to ensure the implementation transitions successfully from cutover through hypercare to steady-state operations, delivering measurable outcomes and a sustainable operational model.

What You'll Do

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.For this position, the hourly pay range is $60 to $65/HR depending on experience.Actual compensation will depend upon an individual ’ s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
