Job summary

Lakeside Surfaces LLC in Muskegon, MI is seeking a Slabsmith Operator for the 3rd shift. You will load and unload slabs with an overhead crane, photograph slabs for color matching, and help ensure accurate location data for fabrication planning.

Work with the Moraware system and Slabsmith equipment, coordinate with the MAL Engineer to calibrate equipment, and participate in unloads as needed. The role requires steel-toe safety and attention to quality from start to finish.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in production/manufacturing is required.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a crane to load/unload slabs from racks.
• Use Moraware to locate and update slab locations per schedule.
• Take photos with Slabsmith and verify calibration with MAL Engineer.
• Pre-inspect slabs for quality and identify discontinuities before inventory.
