Job summary

Southcentral KY Community & Technical College seeks a SKYCTC Dual Credit Instructor to deliver on-site dual credit courses. You will plan and carry out instruction, prepare learning materials, and ensure course alignment with SKYCTC competencies.

Candidates must have a master's degree with 18 credit hours in the subject area; for technical courses, a college degree and relevant work experience—as determined by the Academic Division Dean—are required.

Job Duties

Plans and carries out instruction, instructional activities, and prepares learning materials for applicable SKYCTC dual credit course. Provides instruction to students in both theory and practice in the particular area of instruction. Prepares lesson plans and maintains records and reports on students’ attainment and progress. Works closely with SKYCTC Faculty Liaison to ensure course alignment with appropriate SKYCTC course competencies.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree from an accredited university with 18 hours in the subject area taught for general education and baccalaureate transfer courses.

For other technical courses, college degree from an accredited institution and relevant work experience as determined by the Academic Division Dean.
