Qualifications

• MUST have a Valid Driver's License
• Must be willing to obtain an Illinois Bus Permit
• Previous Experience in Security
• Required Training is preferred
• Security Guard License is preferred
• Must submit or pass a background check
• Great communication skills
• Full Time and Part Time Shifts Available
• Must be 21 years or older to be considered for the Unarmed Security Officer Driver Role
• 3+ years' experience is a plus!
• 1st Shift: 7AM-3:30PM
• $19 an hour
  
  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
• Report any facility issues
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
• Familiarity with security equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening
  
  

process, including drug screen and background investigation.

• Assume responsibility for understanding and complying with Per Mar Security Services attendance expectations.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by interacting with the Per Mar Security Services internal/external customers (including, but not limited to current customers, prospective customers, clients, vendors, co-workers, supervisors and management) in a mutually respectful manner regardless of race, colour, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation and all other protected classes.
