Your Tasks

Summary:
Plans material and expedites product/projects/material where routines/guides have been established.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Works effectively with company personnel, customers, and others by sharing ideas constructively, listening objectively, and respecting diversity.
2. Performs all necessary planning functions.
3. Interfaces with the purchasing department to expedite high priority orders and produce related documentation.
4. Resolves procedural problems with management.
5. Obtains quotes, product, and pricing information.
6. Produces purchase orders, expedites orders, and handles modifications or cancellations.
7. Maintains stock items and prepares paperwork for returns.
8. Matches P.O. and requisitions, enters inventory into the computer, and produces reports for analysis.
9. Initiates purchase orders for specific commodities and expedites stock items.
10. Maintains vendor records and updates files for efficient operation.
11. Covers reception area with phone coverage.
12. Maintains understanding of Inventory Control, Sales Order, Purchasing, and RMA Systems.
13. Committed to environmental, health, and safety standards, including EMS.
14. Performs administrative production planning duties.
15. Purchases and maintains office and breakroom supplies.
16. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Adheres to safety principles in all operations.
• Handles confidential information appropriately.
• Acts as a company representative at various locations.
• Follows procedures and instructions from supervisors.
• Presents a professional appearance and attitude.
• Has a valid driver's license for occasional driving.
• Communicates professionally via verbal, written, and email channels.
• Performs receptionist duties when required.

Your Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two-year degree in Industrial Technology or related field is a plus.
• Three years' experience in production scheduling or related field is a plus.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Proficient in personal computers; familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus.
