Job description

Your tasks

Works effectively with company personnel, customers, and others by sharing ideas constructively and positively; listening to and considering suggestions from others; keeping commitments; informing others of work progress, timelines, and issues; addressing problems constructively to find mutually acceptable solutions; respecting diversity in actions and deeds.

  1. Order entry: Process all order activities efficiently for EDI and non-EDI orders.
  2. Check open orders: Monitor availability, customer notes, delivery times, and send confirmations.
  3. Order processing: Communicate order status, shortages, delivery dates, and deviations via email/phone.
  4. Monitor backorders: Check availability, merge orders, set delivery dates, and confirm in SAP.
  5. Order fulfillment: Ensure timely processing to meet customer satisfaction standards.
  6. Resolve issues: Address order problems and processing errors.
  7. Reporting: Prepare reports on inquiries, sales trends, complaints, returns, and delivery issues.
  8. Complaints and returns: Manage complaint and return processes, monitor status, and analyze data for improvements.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Your profile
  • Associate degree in business management or related field (preferred).
  • 3-5 years experience in customer service and/or operations, preferred.
  • Experience in SCM/back-office, preferably in a technical industry.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP).
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Knowledge of CRM Microsoft Dynamics, preferred.
