Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Chemist for a 2-year on-site role in Irvine, CA. The incumbent will conduct formulation projects with the SkinMedica team, creating laboratory batches and performing experiments to support product development.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of cosmetic formulation experience, strong lab skills (stability, pH, viscosity, microscopy), and is capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. GMP/GLP familiarity is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of topical cosmetic/OTC formulations experience required.
• Experience operating lab equipment and making formulation batches.
• Familiar with GMP/GLP.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formulation projects with SkinMedica team and staff scientists.
• Create laboratory batches, perform experiments, and analyze results.
• Manage raw material inventories and conduct sample testing (stability, packaging).
• Support pilot/scale-up documentation and activities.
