TrailersPlus, a Division of Interstate Group, is seeking dedicated team members in the Skin Department at our Kingman, Arizona plant. You will engage in high-quality construction processes, working with various tools and ensuring high standards in trailer production.

Responsibilities

• Review build orders upon receiving trailer frames.
• Attach sheet metal parts using appropriate tools.
• Verify fit and clean interiors before final inspection.
• Test and hook up electrical lighting.
• Work independently while maintaining safety standards.

Job description

For over two decades Interstate has been an industry leader in the manufacturing and sales of cargo trailers. Established in 1995, our goal is to build quality trailers that meet our customers' personal and commercial needs. Whether it’s hauling a vehicle for play (car, ATV, snowmobile, motorcycle, etc), or transporting heavy duty equipment or material between sites, Interstate has the right trailer for the job and we need you to help deliver the demand by joining our production team in the Skin Department at our plant in Kingman, Arizona.

The Skin Staff Will Support Our Valued Customers By Contributing To The High Quality Construction Process Of Interstate Trailers. This Will Include

• Receiving trailer frame from the Wood shop and reviewing the accompanying build order.
• Attaching all sheet metal fenders and wall trim using appropriate tools.
• Attaching aluminum sheets, specialized tapes and caulk to quality specifications, verifying proper fit.
• Thoroughly cleaning the interior and exterior, prior to applying silicone caulking and appropriate decals.
• Hooking up and testing all electrical lighting.
• After training, this role will demonstrate a consistently safe, efficient and accurate work environment.
• All finished work production will consistently meet high quality control standards.
• This role is expected to learn and become proficient in other production roles in order to support the entire production team as needed.
• This position will work independently with the following tools:

• Radial arm saw
• Drywall screw gun
• Sawzall
• Stomp shear
• Sheet Metal Brake
• General hand tools
