Salary Range: $20.00 To $23.00 Hourly
We are seeking a Beauty Advisor – Skincare & Cosmetics who will be the primary point of contact for our guests and walk in guests within the Store area of our Dermatology Practice. This role will provide excellent customer service and upscale hospitality in order to influence sales of skincare products.
To be successful in this role, candidates must be engaging, outgoing, and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for building relationships and creating positive experiences for others.
Must be available M-F Open to Close & 2 Sat. a month @ $20-$23hr.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Open & Closing Procedures
- Check, triage and respond to voicemail and Klara messages
- Unlock/Lock cabinet doors and drawers
- Settle & Batch
Daily Inventory Management, Maintenance & Cleaning
- Maintain clean, organized, and stocked work environment
- Dust shelves and products, replacing testers as needed, including organizing and appropriately displaying merchandise
- Receive & triage packages/shipments, including doing a physical count and verifying SKU labeling
- Monthly physical inventory counts and daily stock check
Vendor Relations and Event Planning
- Communicate with vendors, including assisting in coordinating events and promotions
- Collect new product information, evaluate, and present to Manager to discuss with owner physicians
- Assist in event planning and execution, including any need for physical space preparation
- Confirmations & Follow-Ups
Training
- Attend product education seminars
- Assist Manager in providing staff education and training on how to discuss products with patients
- Perform POS operations daily ensuring accuracy and precision, which includes opening and closing daily batches, in addition to balancing throughout the day.
- Greet and direct patients & guests in a timely and professional manner, always with a smile
- Present product regimens and recommendations,
- Review past product recommendations and regimens and consult appropriately in selecting products to meet skincare goals (in collaboration with other providers care plans)
- Consult and develop skincare regimens suing all tools including the VISIA Complexion Analysis
- Makeup consulting
- Sell Gift Cards
- Update & enter Patient Demographics (referral source)
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in notes and consultation forms.
- Follow-up with patients via Klara and phone on satisfaction with new products, samples, replenishment needs
- Extend invitations to workshops and events
- Patient reactivation outreach for new/updated regimens
- Manage patient product side effects and complications with clinical staff and providers
- Manage phone orders, webs sales, product returns, out of stock/wait list and ship products
- Manage patient inquiries, phone calls and emails with the goal of offering solutions
- Manage to-do’s
- Communicate patient care and satisfaction with the Manager daily.
- Assist in staff training
- Product evaluation & research (old and new)
- Communicating product performance and stock movement with Manager
Website and Social MediaManagement
- Assist in content development for website and social media
Admin
- Assist with administrative duties as requested by Patient Service Manager and Manager
- Attend and actively participate in required meetings.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
- MinimumHigh School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years as an Aesthetician, Front Desk Coordinator, Medical Assisting in Dermatology
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail sales
- Detailed knowledge of skincare products, skin anatomy, and industry trends
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, internet, computer use, general office equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior skincare retail sales or aesthetic experience
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with patients, support staff, providers, and managers
- Strong writing and oral communication skills
- Ability to autonomously manage patient relationships and assigned projects
- Detail oriented with focus on building patient relationships and retention
- Shows initiative and ability to solve problems (resourcefulness)
- Ability to work within a team approach with little supervision
- Professional appearance, positive attitude and punctual attendance
- Familiarity with EMR system: ModMed/EMA
Physical Requirements
- Intermittent physical activity including walking, sitting, and lifting

- May be required to work evenings and weekends
- Work schedule based on operational need
