Crash Champions presents the Skills Training Education Program (STEP), a full-time, paid apprenticeship-style path to a long-term collision repair career through hands-on training and mentorship across the U.S. As part of STEP, you will receive daily hands-on instruction, mentorship from experienced technicians, and a route to I-CAR Weld Certification and more, with benefits from Day One.

• 18+ ready to work full-time (40 hours/week).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle disassembly, repair planning, and reassembly.
• Plastic bumper, dent, and panel repair techniques.
• Structural damage identification and anchoring setup.
• MIG welding and other joining techniques.
• Filler work, metal shaping, and refinishing prep.
• Shop safety, communication, and teamwork fundamentals.
• Completion of I-CAR certifications.

I’m Todd, the Sr. Manager of Talent Programs for the Crash Champions STEP Body Technician Apprentice Program, where I get to do what I love most, which is help people grow their skills and launch rewarding careers in collision repair.
